The Most-Experienced Personal Injury Firm Serving All of Palm Beach County

Palm Beach County is the third-largest county in Florida by population — home to over 1.5 million residents spread across 39 incorporated cities, towns, and villages and dozens of unincorporated communities. From the affluent coastal cities of Palm Beach island, Boca Raton, and Jupiter, to the urban core of West Palm Beach, to the suburban communities of Wellington and Boynton Beach, to the agricultural Glades region on the shores of Lake Okeechobee, the county spans more than 2,300 square miles from the Atlantic Ocean to the western lake. Every one of these communities sees serious personal injury accidents every year — and Advocates USA‘s office in Greenacres sits at the geographic center of the county, allowing Attorney Marcos Gonzalez to serve clients in every community within 45 minutes of our office.

The breadth of Palm Beach County means each accident case involves its own unique combination of corridors, hospitals, law enforcement jurisdictions, insurance considerations, and demographic factors. A serious crash on Glades Road in Boca Raton may go to Boca Raton Regional Hospital and involve Boca Raton Police. A crash on SR-80 in Belle Glade may be transported by Trauma Hawk helicopter to St. Mary’s in West Palm Beach. A pedestrian struck on Atlantic Avenue in Delray Beach involves Delray Beach Police, possible dram shop liability against nearby bars, and Delray Medical Center. A rideshare crash at PBIA in West Palm Beach involves the airport authority, Uber or Lyft’s tiered insurance under Florida Statute 627.748, and complex multi-party liability. Attorney Marcos Gonzalez and the Advocates USA team have handled cases across every one of these geographic, jurisdictional, and legal combinations.

For more than 20 years, Attorney Marcos Gonzalez has represented Palm Beach County injury victims with the experience of a former insurance company attorney who knows exactly how the largest carriers evaluate, delay, and deny claims. He is AV-Rated by Martindale-Hubbell — the highest peer-awarded rating in the legal profession — and has recovered over $500 million for South Florida injury victims, including individual results up to $4 million. Our practice covers the full range of personal injury cases countywide: auto accidents, motorcycle crashes, commercial truck accidents, pedestrian incidents, Uber and Lyft crashes, slip and fall, work injuries, construction accidents, dog bites, traumatic brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, and wrongful death. Free evaluation 24/7 in English and Spanish — Hablamos Español.

Florida’s statute of limitations is 2 years from the date of injury. Government entity claims may have shorter notice deadlines. Call (877) 872-4878 for a free evaluation 24/7. Visit our main site for the firm’s full profile and recent verdicts.

High-Risk Corridors Across Palm Beach County

These are the corridors that span multiple cities and produce the highest crash volumes countywide. For city-specific corridors and intersections, visit the relevant city location page above.

I-95 — Full County Length

From the southern Boca Raton city limits to the northern Jupiter line, I-95 carries the highest commercial truck volume in the county. Interchanges at Glades Road, Boynton Beach Boulevard, Lake Worth Road, Okeechobee Boulevard, Belvedere Road (PBIA), PGA Boulevard, and Indiantown Road are consistently among the highest-crash locations in South Florida. See our auto accident and truck accident pages.

Florida’s Turnpike — Parallel Freight Corridor

The Turnpike runs parallel to I-95 through the western half of the county. Service plazas at Lake Worth and Boynton Beach are commercial driver rest stops — high-speed rear-end crashes by trucks re-entering the highway after breaks are common. Toll-by-Plate and SunPass records can be subpoenaed as crash evidence.

US-1 / Federal Highway — Coastal Spine

US-1 runs the full coastal length of the county from Jupiter through Tequesta, North Palm Beach, Lake Park, Riviera Beach, West Palm Beach, Lake Worth Beach, Lantana, Hypoluxo, Boynton Beach, Ocean Ridge, Briny Breezes, Gulf Stream, Delray Beach, Highland Beach, and Boca Raton. Dense commercial driveway activity creates frequent pedestrian incidents.

Military Trail — North-South Suburban Spine

Military Trail spans nearly the entire county outside the coastal communities. It passes through Boca Raton, Delray Beach, Boynton Beach, Lake Worth, Greenacres, West Palm Beach, and Palm Beach Gardens. Heavy commercial driveway access and dense intersections at every cross-arterial.

Southern Boulevard / SR-80 — Cross-County

Southern Boulevard runs from downtown West Palm Beach through Greenacres, Royal Palm Beach, and Wellington, then continues west as SR-80 through the Glades agricultural region to Belle Glade and beyond. Rapid suburban growth has outpaced safety infrastructure. The two-lane Glades section is among Florida’s most dangerous rural highways for commercial truck crashes.

A1A — Coastal Communities

A1A and Ocean Boulevard serve the coastal communities from Jupiter Inlet south through Juno Beach, Singer Island, Palm Beach island, Lake Worth Beach, Hypoluxo Island, Manalapan, Ocean Ridge, Briny Breezes, Gulf Stream, Delray Beach, Highland Beach, and Boca Raton. Seasonal tourist traffic from unfamiliar drivers contributes to elevated crash risk.

Okeechobee Boulevard — WPB Arterial

Wide multi-lane arterial that invites speeding. The intersections with Military Trail, Haverhill Road, Congress Avenue, Jog Road, and the downtown WPB transition zone produce consistently high crash counts. Late-night DUI crashes are disproportionately common. Connects to The Outlets at Palm Beach.

SR-7 / US-441 — Western County Spine

Runs north-south along the western edge of the developed county through Wellington, Royal Palm Beach, and into Palm Beach Gardens. Heavy commercial and agricultural truck traffic from western farms moving east to coastal markets.

What to Do After an Accident Anywhere in Palm Beach County

1
Call 911 and File a Police Report

Whether the responding agency is Palm Beach County Sheriff, a city police department, or the Florida Highway Patrol (for I-95 and the Turnpike), get the official report number and the officer’s badge. A formal report is critical evidence.

2
Go to the Closest Appropriate Hospital

St. Mary’s (WPB) and Delray Medical Center are the county’s Level I trauma centers. JFK Medical (Atlantis), Bethesda East (Boynton), and Boca Raton Regional handle most serious crash cases. The medical record from same-day treatment is essential evidence.

3
Document Everything With Your Phone

Photos and video of the scene, vehicle damage, injuries, road conditions, signage, and any property hazards. Note nearby security cameras at retail centers, hotels, traffic signals, and businesses — surveillance is overwritten in 48–72 hours.

4
Get Witness Contact Information

Names and phone numbers of any witnesses. Their independent accounts often defeat insurance company fault-inflation arguments.

5
Decline Statements to the Other Insurance Company

You are under no legal obligation. Their recorded statement is designed to capture admissions that minimize your claim. Tell them your attorney will be in contact.

6
Call Advocates USA — We Act Within 24 Hours

We send preservation demands for surveillance footage, request police records, secure medical documentation, identify all liable parties, and begin building your case immediately. Free evaluation 24/7.

Palm Beach County Personal Injury — Frequently Asked Questions

County-wide questions about jurisdictions, hospitals, statutes, and our practice.

Does Advocates USA cover all of Palm Beach County?

Yes. Attorney Marcos Gonzalez has practiced from Greenacres for over 20 years and represents injury victims in every one of the county’s 39 incorporated cities, towns, and villages — and every unincorporated community. From the northernmost communities of Jupiter and Tequesta to the southernmost city of Boca Raton, from the coastal towns of Palm Beach island to the Glades agricultural communities of Belle Glade and Pahokee, we handle cases throughout the entire county. Our Greenacres office at 6415 Lake Worth Rd, Suite 304, is within 45 minutes of any community in Palm Beach County. We conduct in-person meetings, phone consultations, and home or hospital visits when injuries prevent travel.

What’s the difference between filing a claim against a Palm Beach County city vs the county sheriff or FDOT?

Government claims in Florida are governed by Florida Statute 768.28 — the Florida Tort Claims Act. Whether your accident involves the City of West Palm Beach (city police, city sidewalks), the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office (county roads, sheriff vehicles), the Florida Department of Transportation (state roads including I-95, US-1, and SR-80), or the Palm Beach County School District, specific notice requirements apply that can be much shorter than the standard 2-year statute of limitations. Sovereign immunity also caps certain government damages. Call us immediately — these government notice deadlines are absolute and missing them eliminates your right to compensation.

How long do I have to file a personal injury lawsuit in Florida?

Florida Statute 95.11(3)(a) sets the standard statute of limitations at 2 years from the date of injury for most personal injury claims. This deadline is absolute. Wrongful death claims also have 2 years. Dog bite claims under Florida Statute 767.04 have 4 years. Medical malpractice claims have 2 years from discovery with specific pre-suit procedures under Florida Statute 766.106. Government entity claims require notice within shorter windows under Florida Statute 768.28. Call Advocates USA at (877) 872-4878 immediately after any serious accident anywhere in Palm Beach County.

Which trauma center should I go to after a serious accident in Palm Beach County?

Two Level I Trauma Centers serve Palm Beach County: St. Mary’s Medical Center on 45th Street in West Palm Beach (northern and central county), and Delray Medical Center on Linton Boulevard in Delray Beach (southern county). For the western county (Wellington, Royal Palm Beach, Loxahatchee), Wellington Regional Medical Center handles initial trauma with transport to St. Mary’s for catastrophic cases. For the Glades region, transport from Lakeside Medical Center in Belle Glade to St. Mary’s is typical. Your local police or paramedics will direct you to the closest appropriate facility — but if you have a choice, the Level I trauma centers provide the highest standard of care.

Does Advocates USA handle cases outside Palm Beach County?

Yes. While our primary geographic focus is Palm Beach County — where Attorney Marcos Gonzalez has practiced for over 20 years — we also handle cases throughout South Florida including Broward County, Martin County, St. Lucie County, and Miami-Dade County. Many of our Palm Beach County clients have crashes on I-95 that cross county lines — we follow the case wherever it goes. If you were injured anywhere in Florida and want to discuss whether we can represent you, call (877) 872-4878 for a free evaluation.

Do you handle accident cases in Spanish?

Yes — Hablamos Español. Our entire team at Advocates USA is fully bilingual. We represent Palm Beach County’s substantial Spanish-speaking communities throughout the county including the Lake Worth Beach corridor, the Glades agricultural communities of Belle Glade and Pahokee, and the diverse neighborhoods of Greenacres, Lantana, and West Palm Beach. Cases involving language barriers with insurance carriers, hospitals, or police reports are handled fully in Spanish from the first call through final settlement. Immigration status does not affect your right to compensation in Florida — we handle cases with complete confidentiality regardless of documentation.
